Whole wheat breadsticks
We got this recipe a few years ago from some friends of ours and it is by far our favorite breadstick recipe! So good, and so easy to make too!
Wheat Breadsticks
2 c wheat flour
1 1/2 c white flour
1 1/2 c hot water
2 T sugar
1 1/4 t salt
1 T yeast
1/2 T brown sugar
mix hot water, yeast, and sugar. let the yeast react. mix in other ingredients. let sit for 5ish minutes. then roll into breadsticks, brush butter over the tops. Season with garlic salt, parsley & parmesan cheese (whatever sounds good to you!). cook for 12-15 minutes at 400. YUM.
*I did use all wheat flour this last time and they turned out just the same, texture wise, and of so yummy taste wise. :)
