Starting out!

This will be our first week receiving our box from Abundant Harvest. I am beyond excited! I wasn't sure if it would work for our family at first..most of the kids take after me! Which is to say picky. :) But here we are! We made the decision and we're going to stick with it!

It is some what amazing to me still the difference in taste between organic and non-organic. I used to think, "Whats the big deal?" Now I know what the big deal is. It's called pesticide free food. It's called non GMO food. It's called natural food.

My boys are actually the ones to 'seal the deal' for me. They love organic food that they wouldn't touch otherwise. The first time they tasted organic ground turkey, they couldn't stop telling me how much they loved it! And they haven't eaten a drop of meat in years due to not liking it. That is BIG.

The biggest thing that I've noticed in myself is that I'm more willing to try things. This goes against everything I held dear as a kid. I ran from foreign foods. Now I'm open and willing to give them a try (as I hope you'll see from the meals I'm cooking) and to like them too!

Organic food really does taste different! And not just different, it tastes GOOD.
