Weekly Menu: October 18- October 24

It's the time of year again when we switch to getting a CSA box every week to every other week. It also means that our pick-up location changes from the farm to the farmers market, on a different day. So this week's menu is a little longer to accommodate those changes.


Thursday
to do: pull chicken
Breakfast: fried eggs, fruit
Lunch: sandwiches, pudding
Dinner: Alfredo shrimp pasta, veggies

Friday
to do: cook granola
Breakfast: Grain-free Coffee Cake
Lunch: leftover pasta, fruit
Dinner:  Irish style Pot Roastyorkshire pudding, Irish roasted beets and carrots
Treat: Halloween sugar cookies (using my family recipe)

Saturday
to do: cook chicken, make muffins
Breakfast: yogurt and soaked granola
Lunch: leftover roast and cookies
Dinner: Chicken Enchiladas, veggies

Sunday
to do: soak potatoes at noon
Breakfast: coconut flour muffins
Lunch: leftover enchiladas
Dinner: Nourishing potato cheese soup, sour dough bread

Monday
to do: soak porridge, pull Brats
Breakfast: cheese eggs, fruit
Lunch: leftover soup
Dinner: Corn tortillas tacoes, veggies
Treat: White Chocolate Fudge

Tuesday
to do: soak potatoes at noon
Breakfast: porridge
Lunch: leftover tacoes, fruit
Dinner: Bratwursts, kraut, potato fries

Wednesday
to do: pull chicken from freezer
Breakfast: yogurt and soaked granola
Lunch: mini pizzas (w/ leftover brats), fruit
Dinner: Spinach and Bacon Oven Omelette, veggies

Thursday
to do: soak porridge
Breakfast: sourdough waffles (from the freezer), bangers
Lunch: leftover omelette, muffins
Dinner: Sourdough chicken pot pie, fruit

Friday- Trunk or Treat!
to do:
Breakfast: porridge
Lunch: leftover pot pie, fruit
Dinner: Sourdough sausage pizza, veggies
Treat: Halloween candy!
